JAPANESE LANGUAGE PROJECT VIA GRANTS

Japanese language education is popular among young learners especially through circulation of Japanese pop culture such as anime and manga. Asami Language Services has helped secondary schools across London for them to set up a regular Japanese course for their enthusiastic pupils via education grants. We will find a suitable grant for the aim and time duration, design the course syllabus and fully support applying for funding. For more information, please see PROJECTS.

"JAPANESE GCSE PREPARATION" &  "JAPANESE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS" AT THE FULHAM BOYS SCHOOL

SEPTEMBER 2022 & JULY 2023 - From JAPAN FOUNDATION LONDON

 

Currently, there are over 20 Japanophiile pupils engaged in Japanese study on a GCSE preparation course, beginner's course, co-curricular course (Y8s) & all-school enrichment programme. Asami Language Services has fully supported the school to apply for an education grant for two academic years in 2022/'23 and 2023/24. The Japanese programme at the school has been continue to grow.

"JAPANESE FOR RESEARCH" AT FACULTY OF MEDICINE, IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON

NOVEMBER 2019 - From JAPAN FOUNDATION LONDON

​

This is a special course to prepare BSc medical students at Imperial for those who will visit TMDU (Tokyo Medical and Dental University) to conduct medical research in 2019. It is expected to cover from basic language system, functional language and research related contexts. We fully assisted the College obtain a grant to fund the course from the Japan Foundation London.

NOVEMBER 2018 - From GREAT BRITAIN SASAKAWA FOUNDATION
 
A Japanese course was originally opened at Highbury Fields School in December 2015 with a grant from Japan Foundation London. The course has been very well-accepted among diligent learners at the school since then. This time, we obtained a grant for the academic year of 2018/19 from Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation to continue the language course. Some of the students are studying to take an official exam in 2020.
